ABOUT ME

Sheena Munson PMHNP

I have been a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) since 2017, graduating from The Ohio State University. I have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient community mental health for adults & children, substance use treatment programs, dual diagnosis residential, private practice, and inpatient/emergency units.

My goal is to provide a safe space building trust and developing a collaborative relationship with my patients. Through this we can identify treatment goals and formulate a plan to improve quality of life, functioning, and overall well-being. My approach is holistic, often including a combination of medication and psychotherapy.

I am comfortable working with a variety of clients but particularly enjoy working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and women's mental health issues. I also deeply appreciate working with front line healthcare workers having worked many years as an RN in the ICU/ER setting prior to becoming a NP.

I see patients across the lifespan from ages 18-64.
